Homeroom classes are working on earning "Golden" awards in different areas at Northside. In the cafeteria we are tracking how many golden spoons classes are earning by the week with their behavior and leadership during lunch. The winning class will get an ice cream party to eat with golden spoons at the end of the year. We can't wait to see who will earn this reward!
Mrs Dailey's first graders are learning to add three numbers mentally. First we find the two numbers that equal 10. Then we add the third number.
Northside 5th grade students hosted our Veteran's Day celebration today. We had retired Captain Sam Haliburton as a guest speaker. He talked to the students about the teachers that played a role in his life. He spoke about the 50 countries he has visited during his time in service. It was a wonderful program!
These friends were 'Caught Being A Leader' last week, and were recognized at our Schoolwide Friday Morning Meeting. Congratulations!
