We had a great day today! Our older students heard several “Haunted Tales” from storyteller Mary Hamilton.
Our younger students enjoyed learning about being an author/illustrator with a visit from Amanda Driscoll. They ended the day with cupcakes that looked just like Klondike’s from one of Driscoll’s books.
Thanks to our Family Resource Center for helping with funding and the HCHS Culinary Club for the beautiful cupcakes!

Due to a staff hire, Eastside has a parent SBDMC opening. The candidate elected will represent parents on the Eastside School-Based Decision Making Council. Term of election is two years per SBDM policy. This year's election will be for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years, with the term starting in September.
