It's been a wonderful week! Fifth grade students will continue reading in the Fighting Ground. Area and perimeter will be discussed in math. Primary reading students will continue in the Barton's reading program.
It has been a fantastic week! Students in 5th grade reading class are making progress and will have a new reader next week. They will also have a new set of spelling words. Math 5th grade students began decimals this week and that will continue next week. Primary students also had a great week and will be progressing into new readers.
This week Fifth graders will be taking the PAB Social Studies test. Reading students will continue in their unit. Math students will be taking on decimals and fractions! Keep reading at home.
It's been another wicked week with snow. Please keep reading at home. This coming week students will have new spelling work. In reading class, they will be taking the PAB tests. Math class will continue to investigate fractions.
Reading groups will keep the same story this week. Please read it over the weekend. It's hard to make progress if you don't practice.

It's great to be back! Thank you for the Get Well cards. Thanks also to Josie Dailey for substituting for me. She always does a wonderful job. I'm pleased with the progress everyone has made.

WOW! It's hard to believe that we are half way through November. Reading groups are making progress with the Barton Reading and Spelling Program. Please look for new story packets on Monday. Math group will continue the study of the custormary measurement system.
